SUSTAINABILITY
NATURE ONE has been taking place in the wonderful Hunsrück countryside since 1995. We call it NatureOne Land.
At NATURE ONE, we bring together up to 65,000 visitors a year who share our passion for electronic music and peaceful coexistence.
We want to protect our living space and minimize the impact on the environment as much as possible. We want to inspire all participants to expand their environmental awareness and to positively change behavior both during and after the festival.
NATURE ONE has the potential to have such a positive impact on all participants. Our goal is to set good examples in the area of sustainable event management. In doing so, we focus on waste reduction, mobility, resource-saving production processes and careful cooperation.
- Waste reduction
PLEDGE
Beverage containers are issued against a deposit. Only reusable cups are used. Cans and PET bottles are recycled after use.
GARBAGE DEPOSIT
CampingVillage charges a garbage deposit of 10 euros. In this way, we ensure that waste is collected and only dropped off at the designated stations. The waste is then sorted by a disposal service provider. In this way, we ensure that recyclable materials return to the recycling cycle, even with mixed waste.
TABLEWARE
No disposable crockery or cutlery is used in all crew catering, so there is no (plastic) waste. Food stands are required to dispense little or no packaging.
PAPER
Many processes are now carried out digitally. For example, we refrain from printing booklets before the event as well as printing paper party guides. All important information about the festival is available digitally on the homepage and in an app.
CASHLESS
Our new cashless system, which allows convenient and cashless payments on site at all catering and non-food stands, eliminates the production of millions of paper receipts.
TENTS
There are various offers of ready-made tents (including accessories such as sleeping pads, etc.) that can be booked in advance. These tents are used several times at various festivals. The “light” luggage also makes it easier for visitors to travel by public transport.
GENERALLY
Raising awareness among all visitors to avoid disposable containers as far as possible when planning their visit to the festival, i.e. do not bring single-use plastic, disposable barbecues, etc. And in general, the following applies: “Leave no trace! ”. - mobility
ARRIVAL BY TRAIN OR PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
From Koblenz main station, a shuttle bus line will be set up to/from the festival site. Numerous buses travel the approximately 50 km long route without a stopover from Thursday to Sunday. There is therefore nothing standing in the way of travelling by train. And anyone who has the Deutschlandticket (“49-Euro-Ticket”) doesn't even need an additional rail ticket.
ARRIVING BY PARTY BUS:
Organized party buses travel to NATURE ONE from all over Germany. This makes the trip an experience and protects the environment.
KASTELLAUN SHUTTLE BUSES:
To shop at supermarkets, discounters or drugstores in Kastellaun, you can leave your own car in the CampingVillage. Because on Friday and Saturday, numerous free buses commute between the city and the festival site.
CARPOOLING:
Carpools are formed in numerous Facebook or WhatsApp groups. This is not only good for the environment, but is also simply more fun.
BRING & PICK UP:
Numerous visitors can be dropped off and picked up again at specially equipped drop off & pick up parking spaces. The vehicles are often filled to the last place, which is why CO2 emissions per guest are lower than when traveling alone. - resources
ENERGY
We try to use energy-saving technology wherever possible, e.g. using LEDs in lighting technology. Parts of the festival area are connected to the local power grid, so we can do without external generators there.
PORTABLE TOILETS
The mobile toilets are not filled with chemicals (not necessary due to the short downtime). Ergo: No chemicals, no water flushing = the most sustainable toilet in the world.
REGIONALITY
Where possible, we hire companies from the region or the greater area around the festival to keep emissions as low as possible through short transport routes.
STANDARD MATERIALS
We try to build as much as possible from standard parts that can be used for many event formats and over long periods of time. Banners and signs are also either produced generically or used over several years. - Environment/Nature
The vegetation around the CampingVillage and the festival area is vital to our ecosystem — it purifies our air, provides us with shade and provides habitat and food for wildlife.
All participants are required to be particularly careful with the vegetation and animals.
According to NATURE ONE, a thorough cleaning of all used areas as well as the adjacent paths, forests and open spaces is carried out. We want to leave everything in a better condition than we found it. - Awareness
At NATURE ONE, we want to create a safe space where everyone can be themselves and lose themselves in the here and now. We value, respect and protect people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, beliefs, ages and ethnicities.
We have a collective responsibility. So if you observe or experience violations, if you feel unsafe or notice that someone else is being harassed, help each other or contact our staff, security services, police or paramedics immediately.
Let's take care of each other. - Sharing is Caring
For 10 years, we have been working with Non-profit organization Viva con Agua together in Hamburg-St. Pauli. The international network is committed to secure access to clean drinking water and basic sanitation in many developing countries. With our and the support of our visitors, wells can be built in Uganda, among other things.
Celebrate safe
There is nothing better than losing yourself in music, dancing in bright sunshine, being part of a large group of enthusiastic celebrators, flirting with beautiful people and partying with your buddies or girlfriends. But do you know what's even better? Then to return home safe and sound.
Yes, partying is fun, but it's never completely risk-free. It is therefore good to know what risks exist. Celebrate-safe.de provides tips and information for conscious and safe partying.

2nd Seek protection
Campingvillage/ComfortCamp:
- Get into your vehicles, they offer the best protection
- Include other visitors
- Don't stop under trees
- Squat on open surfaces
Festival area:
- Get into a tent (e.g. Century Circus, HomeBase, etc.) or a bunker.
- Temporary closure of all OpenAir floors is possible. - Attention: Police checks!
It is expected that numerous vehicles will be checked upon arrival and departure! With all the party fun at NATURE ONE, one thing is very important to us: No alcohol or drugs at the wheel please!
If you drive while intoxicated, you expose yourself and all others to great dangers. Think about the immense suffering you can inflict on others and yourself in the event of an accident while intoxicated. In other words, anyone who drives is sober and without the influence of drugs.
You can stay at the campsite until you are rested, fit and sober. If you want, even until 18:00 on Monday evening! - Don't drink and driveLilly PalmerThis is some text inside of a div block.

Viva con agua
Water is life. Water is a central human right and yet 771 million people worldwide still have no secure access to clean drinking water. That is why Viva con Agua supports water projects with the vision “WATER FOR ALL — ALL FOR WATER!”. The idea of the ALL PROFIT organization (non-profit sounds so joyless) and fundraising with fun and joy has become an international idea.
For Viva con Agua, music is a universal language that brings people together and connects them. That's why we love to party at concerts and festivals! And what could be better than dancing to the sound of your favorite band and at the same time joyfully supporting a good cause? That's why they use festivals and concerts to collect deposit cups for clean drinking water!
Since 2013, NATURE ONE has been supporting the Viva con Agua team with a joint fundraising campaign. At NATURE ONE, deposit cups can be donated locally for drinking water projects worldwide.
You can donate your deposit cups on site at the Viva con Agua stand and at all Viva con Agua bins.

- Drive sober & safe
It is expected that numerous vehicles will be checked upon arrival and departure! With all the party fun at NATURE ONE, one thing is very important to us: No alcohol or drugs at the wheel please!
If you drive while intoxicated, you expose yourself and all others to great dangers. Think about the immense suffering you can inflict on others and yourself in the event of an accident while intoxicated. In other words, anyone who drives is sober and without the influence of alcohol or drugs.
You can stay at the campsite until you are rested, fit and sober. If you want, even until 18:00 on Monday evening!

How to get there: There is an asphalted parking lot for people with reduced mobility, which is close to the festival site. For access, please send an email to info@i-motion.ag send with a picture of your disability card (with the note B). Requests after July 19 are no longer guaranteed to be processed!

- Soil conditions of the terrain
Most trails on the festival site are asphalted and floors are laid out in the tents. However, the stages on the bunkers are difficult to access (stairs).
